I'm sorry, but we didn't get your resume!
Is your resume,
Lost in Space?
But I sent it last week!
...........................................................................

You can send your resume to the employer or you can let our professional Career Search Specialist and Job Hunting Consultants do it for you. In either case, one way will succeed 8 percent of the time, while the other will succeed 98 percent of the time. It's your call...

If you distribute your resume yourself - by emailing your work of literary art and hope that someone will actually see it, you may be taking a risky chance - and wasting time and money.

We at JE are experienced at the "new way" to job hunt in Japan, Australia or America and will get your resume on the desk of the people who make the decisions. Oh! And we will add our JE Seal of Approval on every resume we send for you. That way, the employer knows you are approved by the professionals at Japanese-Experts.com.

When I was a job hunter long ago, I use to be able to send my resume and get the interviews. I use to get the jobs by " going it alone...". However, in the year 2007, everything has changed. It's a new information world we live in. Yes, It's the computer age with software that blocks resumes from getting to the decision makers.

At JE, we found a way around that...

Did you know when you email your resume - a computer will be first ( in a long line of filters ) to see your resume, as more and more companies use specialized software to filter and sort re'sume's?

What do you mean "Filter and Sort" resumes? Well. We mean keep and trash resumes!

The truth is, when you send your resume for a job - it will have to pass by many filters just to get you an interview! Not a job, an interview!

To us at JE, that does not sound right. Basically, there are about 300 people going for the same job as you. You are all trying to get an interview for the same job! Why? Just because you saw it advertised in the newspaper or online?

There are many jobs to be had, that are not advertised yet - and believe it or not, no one is sending resumes for the hidden jobs!

But we at JE have the connections and the scoop of "who and where" to send your resume to. That way, only you are going for the interview, and that gives you a much better chance at landing the job at a higher rate of pay.

Let's talk more about that " blocking software "that stops some resumes from getting into the company you wish to work with: You may be locked out of some companies by sending your resume by email, only because the company may have software that looks for "wrong" or "bad" keywords or mistakes.

How do you get around this? Well, there's good news...

The good new is, the JE methodology works for the job hunter. You actually have a fast track and sure way to get your resume on the desks of the people who make decisions.

Japanese-Experts.com offers (Resume Distribution Services) which allow our professional Career Search Specialist and Job Hunting Consultants to distribute your resume directly to schools, companies, and organizations - with our JE Seal of Approval, placed on every resume we send.

However, should you still like the "go it alone" approach and send out your resumes along with hundreds of other job hunters, and hope that a real live human sees it - we have researched how you can achieve this.

This is what we found out:

...........................................

Job Hunters in Japan, Australia, and America should be aware of how the new software systems works so that they can stop their resumes from being, Lost in Space!

Job hunters who take the " go it alone " approach must first follow the complete instructions of the employer in terms of how to send a resume to their company. Miss just one step, and bam! Your resume has been lost...

Some employers demand that you send your resume in the body of an email. Some as an attachment. Some want you to snail mail your resume. Some want you to fax your resume. Some want you to send your resume by sending a link to your online resume.

When you prepare your resume for emailing, the employers may or may not ask you to include a unique code or some identification numbers and letters - to include in the subject line. Without this information, your resume may be lost after sending.

It's not uncommon to follow every single instruction to the "T" and still wonder if the employers received it or not. Most time, you don't even get an email back to you - thanking you for thinking of them and for sending your resume.

With JE, we make the contact, and put you in the FRONT of the line - of the other hundreds of job hunters!

Moreover, the font that you use should be the exact font the company requests. If you do use another font for your resume, again - your resume may never be seen by anyone. The resume may go to the trash file!

As a sidebar, if you do use the wrong font or if you do not use line breaks in your resume - it may be blocked because the software sees your resume as spam! No one will see your resume because no one reads spam. Do you read spam?

Now, as for keywords - you must use the correct keywords for the industry you are interested in. For example, if you are a marketing director; you should include words like marketing director, marketing industry, marketing jobs, jobs in marketing, experience marketing, markets include, japan, hawaii, new york.... ( this is only a simple example). But do not overuse the keywords, as the software may see it as spamming. Weird, right?

Bold or not so bold? Do not use bold type fonts in your resume. For some reason, the software that filters out bad resumes - will send any resumes that includes BOLD type fonts, in the trash.

And lastly, the name of the person or persons this resume is directed to: If you do not know the person that the resume should go to - or if you just type in Human Resources Division, your resume will see the dark side of the moon faster than the space shuttle.

At JE, we have the connections and the who's who in Japan, New York, and Hawaii. Names that matter!
