Have you seen today's want ads? Does it make you laugh or cry? Makes me crazy! Seems that when you look at the want ads in any newspaper or online networking websites, you'll notice that they are - unrealistic at best.

Have you noticed that almost every job ad that is posted is either for a janitor or requires an MBA? And did you further notice that by the time you do send in your resume for the job, it's already taken? Searching for a job by classified ads is not the best way to go, if you're searching for a job. Ironic, isn't it?

Many employers deliberately add many responsibilities and needed degree's to the ad so they can keep the number of applicants at a minimum. If you think that's crazy, read on...

You see, it cost the company about $300.00 to $500.00 per ad to seek for employee's for just one job. So they want to take the first or second person to come along so that they ( the employer) don't need to place the same ad again.

The employer understands that when they do place an ad in the classifieds of any newspaper, they will be inundated with job hunters. So, what's happening is that 99.9 percent of job seekers are sending in resumes or posting them online and wasting time and money - because the employer has already decided to limit the number of applicants no matter if they have your resume or not.

We at Japanese-Experts.com found that this method of seeking for a job is problematic. We found a better way to help job seekers find businesses, and businesses find employee's.

" When an employer places an expensive $500.00 ad in the classified section of "jobs offered", as many as 300 people will initially send in their resumes - for just one ad. The next day, another 150 to 200 more. That's a lot of resumes! So many employers get tired after the first day and call it quits - and hires the first or second candidate even before interviewing you or looking at your resume. You, never had a chance."

It seems for even the lowest of positions, applicants are required to jump through hoops - to get the job. And employers will play one job hunter off another, to get the salary of the job down as low as possible. So now you have two or three job hunters bidding for the job, and agreeing to start at the lowest wage rate legal by the state of Utah. Now, that's got to get you thinking.

Job hunters - the reality is that most jobs are taken in the first day of adding the advertisement to the classified section of the newspaper. So if you didn't get an interview in the first few hours of Monday morning, you may not have a chance at getting that job. Sad, but true.

And lastly, important to note: Want ads represent fewer than 18 percent of all available jobs. The jobs that are advertised tend to be the jobs that someone in Human Resources, got around to actually writing and placing in the newspaper or online. How many people are going to " Go for it...." when they see the ad? You plus 300 other job hunters who will work for slave wages.

Oh!... and sidebar: The real reason why companies employ a Human Resources Department is to weed out the candidates! Not to hire candidates. People in companies come and go. Human Resources makes sure that the right people enter the circle. So they screen, look for clues of conflict in your resume, and test you, test you, test you! They are not there to get you the job, but to look for the flaws in you.
